  I need a viewer for users to view fxm files generated by WinFax Pro. I found references to miniview.exe while researching but you can no longer download this viewer from Symantec’s website. Can someone point me to an alternate download location or perhaps email me the exe?

  Or can you suggest a good viewer that I can use? Free would be preferable. 🙂

  yes, version 10.01 and up added miniview.exe to the install folder.
  I assumed you didn’t have WinFax installed.

Symantec Winfax Pro And .fxm Viewer For Macbook Pro

The FXM file extension is a MessiahStudio Motion File file developed originally by Delrina for WinFax. Our data shows that FXM files are frequently utilized by PC users in United States and popular on the Windows 10 platform. Symantec no longer makes WinFax Pro, but they do (did) make a free viewer (miniview.exe) for FXM files. They even still have a link to the viewer on their site, but the FTP site doesn't appear to have the referenced 'ver10.0' folder or subsequent files. The Miniviewer does have a print option, so yes, you could view any WinFax fax image (FXS, FXD, FXR, FXM) and 'print to PDF' if you wanted to on a Windows 7 machine. I haven't tried Miniviewer on Win7, but I don't see any reason for it not to work. On a Mac: Right-click on the file icon. Select “More Info” from the drop-down menu. Look for the file type listed under “Kind”. You Need Help From the Developer. If no programs will open the FXM file, you can ask software developers for help.
