NIS America has licensed the Cardcaptor Sakura TV series and re-released the entire series with Japanese and an unedited English audio track (Animax Asia 's dub) on DVD and Blu-ray on August 5, 2014. After NIS America's licensed lapsed, Funimation licensed the TV series. An unedited English translation, bearing the original title, Cardcaptor Sakura, was broadcast in its English-language networks by the anime television network Animax.
